Chelsea and Arsenal are rumored to be in pursuit of Atletico Mineiro’s right back Emerson and are reported to be keen on bringing him in the January transfer window.
Chelsea already have one Emerson on their books who is a left back signed from AS Roma and they could add another one to their ranks.
Both teams are looking to bring the Brazilian after the Brazilian Serie A season is completed at the end of the year.
Mineiro have just three games left to go in the season and are currently sitting sixth in the table.
Emerson revealed that his elated by the links from English Premier League club, “This is very gratifying for me, it only gives me more fuel to work harder. But regardless of that I’m still focused on Atletico, I don’t think about it now. My head is on the last three fixtures, I’m 100% focused on it.”
