Police have launched a manhunt for a man who killed his wife in front of their children after she allegedly refused to dance with him.
The man who is from the southeastern Turkish province of Gaziantep is on the run from police after committing the inhumane act.
The 24-year-old man, identified as Sezer S., was drunk when he arrived at his home in the Çıksorut neighborhood .
The intoxicated man started to play loud music before asking his wife to dance.
But when the woman refused his request, the report said, the man took his shotgun and killed his wife in front of their two children who were four and five years old respectively.
He is alleged to have whipped out a short gun and shot her as their two children watched.
The ex-convict, who fled the scene, was still being sought by the police.
