The disturbing habit that Kenyans have adopted of killing fellow human beings and dumping the decomposing bodies is still in effect it seems. Barely months after University of Rongo Student Sharon Otieno was raped before being murdered, More dead bodies are being discovered.
Two bodies were Tuesday evening found dumped at a bush along Kimbo-Rwera Road in Juja, Kiambu County.The bodies were found by guards of a nearby coffee farm who then reported the matter to the police.
Juja OCPD Simon Thirikwa confirmed the incident indicating that the bodies had decomposed beyond recognition.
“The bodies seem as if acid was poured on them, we will however conduct a postmortem to confirm what happened,” he said.
“We have began our investigations on the issue but we highly suspect the victim was killed elsewhere and the body dumped here.”
The OCPD appealed to families who have lost their members to avail themselves at the City mortuary where the bodies were moved.
Area residents reported that this was not the first time dead bodies were found in the area.
Murders in Kenya are becoming a common theme but with the added pain of brutality and inhumane acts. Sharon Otieno was gang raped while pregnant and mercilessly stabbed in the back(Literally) the stab inflicting wounds on her poor foetus who suffered the mother’s fate.
Weeks later, business woman Monica Kimani was found murdered in her house, her throat slit while further investigations revealed that she was also raped.
