Do you remember those days when HIV/AIDS patients used to live like orphans?  Rejection was real. The patients were living knowing that they are going to die if not that day then the following day. It was so sad.

Those with low sense of mankind, with no souls and full of revenge could go around spreading the disease. Do you remember those days when they could write letters of the people the they had infected? Those were really dark days.

The days when people could not associate with the infected people for fear of infection. Days when misconception about the disease was too extreme. For a moment they were considered as outcasts.

The signs of the infection were so much conspicuous that the first thing the people could do is to judge them harshly. The victims could to an extent be considered as harlots!

That is no more.

There is a glimmer of hope for HIV/AIDS patients after the new drug for treating the dreaded disease tested 99 percent effective.

Scientists in Israel say that the world will soon have a reprieve following the new treatment called Gammora that will be able to cure and eliminate the disease.

Unlike the antiretroviral drug, the ARV, Gammora is able to reduce the viral load in human beings by killing all the infected cells without causing harm to living cells.

According to the scientists, the new drug is able to do away with 99 percent of HIV by inserting the virus’s genetic material into the DNA of the infected cell.
