When you hear Ahmednasir, first thing that comes ringing is top brains in law. The lawyer has represented most powerful people successfully.
Ahmednasir led the bench of judges that represented Uhuru in the election petition case which the election was overturned.
Naomi Campbell at the height of her career in modelling was called a "man eater" in recognition of the number of men she slept with. So when Judge Wakiaga referred to Irungu "Jowie" as a "woman eater" was he referring to Irungu"Jowie's sex life?..and was such evidence before him?

Ahmednasir came in defense of Jowie who is linked to the murder of Monica Kimani in her apartment after he was denied bail. The lawyer claimed that the judge , Justice James Wakiaga used pedestrian term to describe the suspect.
Question for MY FRIEND, Chief Justice (rtd) Dr Willy Mutunga: Is there a UNIFIED THEORY of JUSTICE in our Judiciary? Does a 'WOMAN Eater' (whatever that means) have the same CONSTITUTIONAL right to BAIL as " a SLAY QUEEN"? ( A Pedestrian term used by TABLOIDS) "james wakiaga"

The judge described Jowie as woman eater and a male version a slay queen.
βThe first accused is a male version of a slay queen. I would describe him as a woman eater…β Judge Wakiaga description of Jowie

Ahmednasir went a head to criticize the judicial system and the office of the Public Prosecution.
Denying accused persons bail on the ground that they are "flight risk" is an old tired execuse. Kenyans don't flee their country to avoid trial…with a conviction rate of less than 2% why should any one be scared of trial in a Kenyan court…of course unless you are very POOR.

The Office of the director of public prosecution has refuted claims by senior counsel Ahmednassir who had through his tweet said that Kenya has a conviction rate of 2%.
During the launch of the State of the Judiciary and Administration of Justice Report officiated by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta, the ODPP was lauded for registering the highest conviction rate to be ever witnessed in Kenya.
The conviction rate according to the report stands at 72.4% as opposed to the 2% alleged by the outspoken lawyer. The Chief Justice said that this was the highest rate in that category.
Ahmednassir was trying to prove that Justice Wakiaga was unfair in denying Jowie bail stating that it was a tired excuse to term him as a flight risk.
The report by ODDP in one way depicts Ahmednasir used the common opinion and the feelings of the netizens to present his argument.
Do you think Ahmednasir is right?
