Did you ever get supervised, or rather presided over in any of your national examinations by the President? Well, on Wednesday morning, KCPE candidates at Uhuru Gardens Primary school could not hide joy as they realised that the father of the country was presiding over their national give this morning.
2018 KCPE exams kicked off on Tuesday morning, with the candidates sitting for maths, English and composition papers on the first day.
The process this where has a new routine whereby different top government officials have been assigned to foresee the process in different exam centres across the country.
On Day one, the Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed was in Kiambu, and today they surprised Uhuru gardens primary candidates as she toured the school alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Before they took over they first paper, the President held a small brief with them.

They are sitting for Science, Kiswahili and Insha papers today.

The president then proceeded to the exam room with the candidates, checked out the papers before they could be opened then had to sign as a supervisor.
He then encouraged them and a word of prayer was held as he left them with blessings before they proceeded to tackle today’s first paper.
