Chiefs and their Assistants may just find themselves in trouble if they fail to accomplish the task that they have been given by Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i.
Matiang’i who has been on the move since KCPE exams kicked off to see the process go on smoothly, on Tuesday, the second day of the KCPE exams, directed all the chiefs and their assistants across the country to compile lists of all KCPE candidates in their areas before the results come out.
This is in a move to see a smooth transition of the candidates to Secondary schools.
Matiang’i was speaking in Kilifi county where he foresaw the opening of a container that had the exams at Kilifi County Commissioner’s office.

Matiang’i was later joined by Public service, gender and youth affairs CS Prof Magret Kobia in another function to launch a partnership between National Youth Service and the Kenya Prisons Service.

The nonsense CS Matiang’i on Tuesday camped in North Eastern Counties to foresee the progress of KCPE exam on the kick off day. He has been accused of deploying military-like troops in examination centres in a bid to provide tight security during this year’s exams.
