Surviving in the media industry is not so easy and it requires being smart and extra creative. When you have none of these, you in trouble, you can’t keep up and being relevant is a complete struggle.
I came across these claims on one of the digital papers…
“For those keen on the entertainment industry have been critical of Chipukeezy for being lazy and lacking creativity and originality in most of his works.
Even the show itself, ‘Chipkukeezy Show’ is a complete replica of American Night talks shows especially The Ellen Show and Jimmy Fallon Show with various segments almost replicating what happens on these American talk shows.
Kenyan comedians have been severally on the receiving end for perennially recycling stale jokes, picking Jokes from twitter users without even awarding credit and even plagiarizing the entire show like what Chipukeezy has just done.” (The Kenyan Herald)
Not the only time we have had copied cases from news stories to ideas…
Most are ignorant to give credit to their sources not knowing that it could actually land you in trouble
Might just be a case of ignorance about plagiarism.

A year ago, Chipukeezy was also exposed over a similar situation only that this time he gave a fake story and it was later discovered that it was a stunt.
Comedian Vincent Muasya aka Chipukeezy was out by a Kenyan in Hollywood for lying on national TV how a white woman helped him meet US comedian Kevin Hart.
He however apologized over the fake story and also sent an apology to Hollywood based Kenyan actress Christine Wawira for failure to acknowledge her as the person who made it possible to meet his American idol comedian Kevin Hart.
These celebrity dramas are always a thread….
