Young Tycoon, Lawrence Lual is alleged to be stepson of former Chief of Defence Force, Gen Paul Malong; various sources portray him to have relations with the General, however in a recent interview, Lawrence Lual rubbished those claims saying that he is not Step-son to the General.

Lawrence Lual is not married and has no kids. Although he had disclosed on his facebook page that he wants to quit being a player and get married 5 year ago this has not come to pass yet.
He is a lover of fame. After he was interviewed in regard to him being featured in TheProfiteers documentary, Lual said that he was not moved but he instead feels nice that he has been interviewed in different nations and the interviwee would not have met him if he was not famous. He seems to like being in the limelight and everywhere in the media no wonder the publicity he has ben creating for himself on his social media page.
His educational background attracts contradicting details. Sources online indicated that he attended school in Yei and did not go further with education. He dropped out in Primary 6 due to circumstances yet to be identified. Other sources however reveal that he is a high school graduate with no degree or background in business, yet ,Mr Lual has been entrusted by government with attracting investors to mine the country’s bountiful and until now largely untapped gold, diamond and oil supplies.
He is potrayed as a businessman and is said to owns 5 mineral refineries for Gold, Silver, Copper Diamonds etc. Two in Kapoeta, South Sudan, another two in Western Uganda and one in Kenya. He claims that his source of wealth is Jesus Christ.
He is claimed to have spent more than 15 million dollars in one year. Spent over 10 millions last year through Charity donation. In one of his videos , he reveals that he donated 10 million to Kenya Red Cross and 1 million to a church in Westlands.
Sources also reveal that Lawrence Luan doesn’t own a house but lives lavishly in hotels (Serena hotel and local hotels in Kabalagala). He said on live TV that he lives in the presidential suite at one Serena Hotel
He is said to have been pardoned by Donald Trump over sanctions after praising Trump in a popular Facebook video. The young tycoon is said to be a fan of Donald Trump and maybe his role model.
