The British High Commission on Friday donated printers to enable the DCI prosecute high profile criminal and economic cases.
The two multipurpose bulk printers were received by the DCI boss George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji.
Kenyans have praised the investigative and prosecuting agencies for their crackdown on corruption and theft of state resources.

But the donation brought mixed reactions from Twitter users as others asked about what Britain is doing to repatriate money stashed in bank accounts overseas.

The Chinese built the AU building in Addis and spied on the AU. As DPP office prints, a copy will be printing in a different printer somewhere else. Donate it to some charity as part of CSR by the DPP office.

Am all for donations. But in cases of sensitive offices I would prefer the money & let the recipient do own purchase. China once built an AU Hqs in Addis Ababa… they still haven’t removed the bugs. @mucheru what’s the policy on sensitive offices receiving electronic donations?

Those printer are bugged peeps dont use them. A DPP office should be able to get printer their own way. Now they will get a copy of everything you scan or print.
