Monica’s MURDER Suspect Jowie’s Crime REVEALED in Dubai

Friends of suspected murderer Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu have revealed details of his troublesome stay in the United Arab Emirates where he was based before returning to Kenya ahead of the August 8 General Eelection.

A friend of Irungu told the Nation that Jowie had been working as a security guard with the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in Dubai.

The friend further added that Monica’s suspected killer had a habit of contravening the law which ultimately led to his dismissal barely seven months into the job.

In one instance, Jowie was caught with alcohol in the staff quarters – a criminal offence in the UAE which requires anyone holding alcohol to have a liquor license.

In another incident, he was caught inside a guest’s hotel room even though the hotel had a strict policy of not allowing staff into the guest’s room.

On the two occasions, the man who later became Jacque Maribe’s fiancé, was issued with a warning by his employers.

However, it was the third incident which led to Jowie’s firing – he was caught in the women’s staff quarters and summarily dismissed.

His friends say after he was fired, Jowie stole several laptop computers as he cleared from the staff quarters.

The details came at a time when the suspect’s parents said they were not aware of his reported training or stay in Afghanistan.

The media had earlier claimed that Maribe’s troubled fiancé was a mercenary trained in Afghanistan – a claim the DCI claimed to be unaware of and which has not been corroborated.
