As part of Melania’s visit to Africa was to promotes her ‘Be Best initiative’ which she unveiled in May and is her official agenda designed to improve children’s well-being. First Lady Margaret Kenyatta also initiated the ‘Beyond Zero’ campaign which is aimed at improving maternal, new born and child healthcare in Kenya. The two seem to be on the same page in regard to mother-child healthcare therefore it would be interesting to see if they will work together to help curb these issues facing society.
