Italian football executive Beppe Marotta could be the man to replace Ivan Gazidis at Arsenal, according to journalist Reports in Italy.
The former Juventus CEO was linked with Manchester United on Monday with his departure imminent from the Bianconeri.
Serie A clubs Inter Milan and AS Roma have been also been touted to move for Marotta.
It is claimed that Beppe Marotta could join Arsenal to replace Ivan Gazidis.
Last month Gazidis departed the Emirates to join AC Milan on October 31.
The Gunners are on the search for a replacement and appear to have turned to Juventus’ departing CEO.
Marotta is due to leave the Italian champions when his contract expires at the end of the month.
On Tuesday he was tipped to join Manchester United and now Arsenal’s name has been thrown into the picture.
The man himself said, “I could end up at another club”
However, the 61-year-old is unlikely to be moving elsewhere this season.
Marotta claims that he hopes to take a break and consider joining another club at the start of next season.
“I could end up at another club, and I cannot rule this out since I’ve worked 40 consecutive years in clubs and never interrupted this. This is the first time I will take a break while a season is under way, and maybe it’s right for me to recharge the batteries. Then I hope to be at the helm of another club in 2019-20.”
