Suspicion intensifies as Kabura is questioned over NYS 1 ‘mastermind’

The narrative now takes a different twist as the EACC  noted that Kabura’s Affidavit in relation to the NYS1 scandal was based on lies and she is expected to be charged for that.  A narrative that has brought about confusion and curiosity as Kenyans demand for answers.

As stated in reliable sources; In February 2016, Kabura filed affidavit in court accusing Ms. Waiguru and other senior government officials of masterminding the alleged theft of Ksh.791 million from NYS through suspicious tenders.

A few months ago, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru then demanded that the anti-corruption agency and Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) make public findings of investigations into an affidavit filed by  Kabura, who is a key suspect in the first  National Youth Service scandal.

Ms. Waiguru was later cleared of any wrongdoing in the NYS scandal, with EACC writing to Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua informing him that it did not find any evidence to warrant her prosecution.

Kenyans have urged the EACC to investigate further and provide answers on what really happened. Beyond that, they also want to see action taken and the masterminds behind NYS 1  brought to book.

“We want the truth about Billions of our taxes. Waiguru should be audited.”

Kenyans have raised their questions saying that if  Kabura was lying then she should reveal the names of those involved in the same and who she is working for.
