Jacque Maribe’s Friends to be INTEGORATED Over Monica Kimani’s Murder

Detectives looking into the murder of Business woman Monica Kimani are expected to interrogate three more media personalities, to establish more information on what they know about Jacque Maribe and her fiancée Joseph Irungu. The three, who are believed to be close friends to Maribe and Irungu, will be required to record statements with officers investigating the brutal murder.

The three have only been identified by their job description which are; a radio presenter, a TV news anchor and a news director.

On Saturday, Police recovered a gun believed to have been used by Irungu to shoot himself on the lower part of his shoulder, after conducting a search at Brian Kasaine’s house, who happens to be Ms Maribe’s neighbour. Kasaine was also arrested for more interrogation.

On Monday, detectives brought Maribe to Kiambu law courts at 8:30am where she is excepted to be charged.

Maribe, who broke the news of Ms Kimani’s death on TV, was arrested on Saturday, days after she was interrogated by detectives. Her fiancé Irungu, the main suspect in the murder, was last week presented before Kiambu Senior Resident Magistrate Stella Atambo who allowed police to detain him for 10 more days as they investigate the case. The lifeless body of Monica was discovered by her brother George at Luciane Apartments at Kitale Lane off Denis Pritt road in Kilimani. She was laid to rest on Friday.
