Citizen Tv news anchor was arrested on Saturday night and detained at Gigiri Police station.The TV journalist was arrested in connection to the death of Monica Kimani who was found dead at her Lamurai apartment in Kilimani, Nairobi.
She was arrested on orders from the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti, who insisted that he had enough evidence to charge Ms, Maribe.
Her arrest came after a three day interrogation at the Director of Criminal Investigations offices as a where the police were trying to find out what could have led to the death of Ms. Kimani.
Maribe’s was also seized by detectives for forensic search which was believed that her fiance Joe Irungu who is the main murder suspect was using duiring the night Monica Kimani was brutally murdered.
A court ruled that Irungu be detained for 10 days at the Muthaiga Police Station as investigations into the murder continue.
If Jackie Maribe confidently read the news while fully aware of what had happened to Monica, perhaps with her personal involvement, then the lady is a full blown cold psycho.
