Maurizio Sarri has spoken to Chelsea legend John Terry and is open to the possibility of him returning to Stamford Bridge as a coach.
John Terry left Championship side Aston Villa at the end of last season and rejected a move to Spartak Moscow this week.
With his footballing career seemingly winding down to an end, new Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri has offered him an opportunity to transition into a coaching role.

“The last time I spoke with him he told me he wants to play for another season,” Sarri told Sky Sports.
“But I don’t know the situation now. I’m talking about one week ago. Chelsea is his home of course.
Sarri was then asked if he would welcome Terry’s return, he said: “Of course.
“In the coaching staff, I think. As I said before I want to give space to the younger players. Fortunately, we have very strong young players.
“Terry would be a point of reference for me, for everybody here I think.
“Here is his home. So he will be very important for everyone here. His presence.”
