Hazard opens up on comparison to Ronaldo and Messi

Forward Eden Hazard  wants to keep on banging in the goals which have seen him touted as one of the world’s best players.

Hazard scored a stunner against Liverpool on Wednesday night to book his side’s place in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

It was his sixth of the season for the Blues as he continues to shine under Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

His stunning start to the season has got many talking him up on the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Hazard on the same, “At the moment, I am just scoring goals, that is why everyone is talking for me to be in the top three. It is a pleasure to be there. I just want to keep going.”

When it was put to Hazard that Chelsea assistant Gianfranco Zola reckons Sarri will help him improve even more, the Belgium National team captain  said: “I hope so. At the moment it is good, I am scoring goals, we are playing good so I am enjoying but we will see in the future. You see it on the pitch. We have different players, players that we didn’t have last season, players who like to have the ball. We have more possession than before. The attacking players benefit of that.We get more touches, more opportunities to create chances, to dribble more, more chances to shoot on target.”

The Belgium starman wet on, “Sarri is a manager who likes to have the ball. That makes a big difference. Besides that, he’s an Italian. Just like under Conte there’s a lot of tactics and we have to work hard in training.”

Hazard’s goal against Liverpool was sensational as he skipped past four Liverpool players before firing into the top corner to grab a winner.

About the goal Eden said, “It’s one of the most beautiful goals I have ever scored,”
