KFCB Boss, Ezekiel Mutua has called out on social media users to use the platform to fight back and reverse the rot that is currently existent in our country. After the weekend many might still be nursing the Rafiki hangover as today marks day 2 of screening of the Rafiki Film.
Today, the Kenya Film and Classification Board CEO, took to his social media platform to give the users some advice. Seemingly from his message, the social media space is slowly turning into a domain for ‘bad guys’
We must refuse to let the social media space become the domain of the bad guys. Those of us who cherish morality and decency must be as effective and strategic in this space as the bad guys if not more.

He also stated that the platform is not a space to protect social media bullies and the evil. Addressing the users, he also mentioned that we all deserve the benefits that come along with the platform. He encouraged users share some inspiration, truth and sense.
“Let’s use these platforms and beat the demons in their own game. . .wakiapisha tunaapisha style!” reads part of his post
@Facebook, @Twitter, @instagram, @WhatsApp platforms are not the preserve of social media bullies and perverts. It’s not the domain of evil. Social media and the benefits thereof are ours too.
