The 2018 Sportpesa Shield Cup Semi-Finals were held today at the Kasarani stadium where the Kariobangi Sharks played against Ulinzi stars. In the game, Kariobangi Sharks beat Ulinzi 4-1. The Kasarani stadium however was almost empty throughout the game.
During the worldcup, MPs went on a trip to Russia claiming that they had gone to ‘benchmark’
Well we are yet to see them implement the tactics they learnt from that trip. Some Kenyans feel that the empty stadium is as a result of poor advertising by the sports ministry. Some mentioned that these are small teams no wonder they have less fans.
Probably they have few supporters who ain’t committed.

Kenyans on the other hand were today expected to turn up in large numbers to support the teams but seemingly this did not happen.
