Hypocrisy! Show Manship! Khalwale tells off MPs

Former Kakamega county senator Boni Khalwale has fired back at the Members of Parliament for failing to represent Kenyans’ interests during voting for the 2018 Finance Bill.

Khalwale claims the MPs failed to think and act soberly on the presidential memorandum on finance Bill. He claims that the MPs chose to sing thriving on drama rather than substance!

This follows the drama that was witnessed on Thursday afternoon in the parliament when the MPs kept on making noise when the “ayes” kept on superseding the “nayes” during voting.

The Bill was however passed and on Friday President Uhuru Kenyatta signed it into law alongside the Coast Guard 2018 Act.

This saw the decrease in petrol prices with an increase in Kerosine price.
