Call and Text Your MPs to Reject 2018 Finance Bill, KOT urged

Kenyans on twitter are calling upon each other to ensure that they get their area MPs contacts to call or text them and tell them to reject the 2018 Finance Bill.

The Bill the MPs had presented to President Uhuru Kenyatta was rejected and in turn the president proposed an 8% VAT tax on fuel which was forwarded back to National assembly with reservations.

They have been urged to do this before Thursday, a day scheduled for another MPs sitting who are going to either vote for or reject the Bill.

One of the Kenyans on twitter showed his screenshot of the message he had send to his area MP, thus encouraging others to do the same.

Many came in agreement with him, with some seen seeking help on how they can get their area representative’s contacts.

however, Kenyans have been advised to stop hand outs culture for the betterment of the economy and corruption reduction.
