In music all things are possible and the lines between gospel and secular are often all blurry after all.
This is ringing true after hard spitting heavyweight rapper Khaligraph Jones featured award-winning singer Willy Paul in a new song dubbed ‘Bora Uhai.’
The collaboration between the two popular artists has created quite a stir on social media with talks centring on whether the self-proclaimed OG has crossed over to gospel or whether Pozze has jumped ship.
Their social media handles have on the past few days been buzzing with love for each other’s work, a position that seemed to have wetted the appetite of some of their fans.
“Hey yoh mr OG, welcome to this other side, where life is good and has no regrets… congratulations Sir. Keep shining.. God is for all man.. @khaligraph_jones wewe ni ule msee.. Guys help me welcome Mr OG to my side.. @khaligraph_jones,” read Willy Paul’s message.
To which the ‘Mazishi’ hit maker responded…
“Wacha injili itambe gathee, vile shetani amekuja kupigwa this time round atajua hajui, Ngori juu ya Ngori buda ausio @willy.paul.msafi, Bora uhai.”
So did the OG switch to the gospel? Probably not, but the collabo had been on the pipeline for a while now.
“I have seen it all, I have done it all, Sometimes we all need change, we just need to start a fresh and thats when you reset to default settings and let God lead the way as you begin a new life, Thank you @willy.paul.msafi #Respecttheogs,” read the rapper’s post.
Others were, however, not amused calling on the two talented musicians to stick to their ‘defined’ spectrum of the music industry.
