The impact of African culture on global trends has grown exponentially in recent years, from runways to restaurants to radio waves. Never Stop. Never Settle tells the story of individuals who are driving this change, their creative passions into thriving business ventures, and in so doing, see the world through fresh eyes – the old rules no longer apply.

Well-known for his photographic work revealing the multi-faceted beauty of his country, Mutua’s photos have been used by BBC News Africa’s In Pictures, African Digital Art, NTV’s PM LIVE, among other avenues showcasing excellence. He has won the pioneer BAKE Award for Best Photography Blog in Kenya, has been nominated for the International CSS Design Award in the US. Apart from photography, he also draws, illustrates, art and architectural visualization.

The new Hennessy Very Special campaign highlights eight real-life creative entrepreneurs from Kenya, Nigeria and Ivory Coast, the campaign will delve deep into each of their unique stories to discover how inner drive, confidence, passion and talent can create chain reactions and unite millions.

Mutua is an artist born and bred in Machakos and fine-tuned by Nairobi. he draws, sketches, mold stuff, destroy stuff & occasionally create stuff… he have been drawing and sketching since his mother placed crayons in his hands at just 3 years of age. The art has since then morphed from Drawing, Illustration, Graphic art, Architectural Visualization to Photography, my latest obsession. When he is not meeting a deadline or sharpening crayons, he loves to get his adrenaline pounding by riding motorbikes, mountain climbing, and (if I got a chance) para-troop and ski.

He is a graduate of Architect from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (J.K.U.A.T), now fully applying my architectural eye to capture Architecture, cityscapes & landscapes. He loves photography.

He credits his creativity to The Creator who is the number one creative in my books, and my mom for the 3yr old crayon awakening. He is Also,  happily married to a beautiful woman who also doubles as a personal model.
