British Prime Minister Theresa May has arrived in Nairobi for a state visit.Β Mrs May landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport boarding a chartered Royal Air Force Voyager from Lagos, Nigeria, at 6.30am. It has been 30 years since a British Prime minister visited the country.
She was accompanied by a host of business moguls and investors keen to strike deals with Kenya and the rest of Africa. The PM is set to hold a joint press briefing with President Kenyatta at State House from 11am.
In Kenya, Mrs May will meet President Uhuru Kenyatta before visiting British troops and a business school.Β The two will then address a joint press conference and announce new areas of cooperation and financial support.
Ms May will lay a wreath at the Mzee Jomo Kenyatta Mausoleum before proceeding to Embakasi where she will open a new cybercrime security wing. In the afternoon together with her host they will address a business forum at the Strathmore University and later proceed to the United Nations offices at Gigiri.
The late Thatcher, popularly known as the Iron Lady, was the first and remains the only British prime minister to have visited Kenya in 1988.
While we can only speculate what the talks will involve between the two, Kenyans already seem to have an idea of what the talks should include.
i think its the hoigh time @UKenyatta goes hard to these leaders. dont sell us in the name of trities, make clear to them that KENYA will not export raw materials. make therm support the setting up of the factories in kenya. be smart when in talks with "British PM Theresa May"

While some are not so impressed with the visit at all..
British PM Theresa May is in Kenya to pursue her country's interest but we are being made to feel that it's an honour to have a around.

And in true Kenya spirit…
Now that British PM Theresa May is in Nairobi, and after that rather interesting dance she did in SA, it's a must that she does the Odi dance in Nairobi or we'll feel insulted π π π π

We highly doubt this will be discussed though,,
British PM Theresa May when you jet back to Britain, tag along your white people who still own expansive land in Kenya, we need our land back with NO CONDITIONS. There's no single African owning land in Britain despite helping you in 2nd World War.
