The statement released by AFC Leopards concerning the incidences of the hooliganism at Moi Sports Centre Kasarani on Saturday have has been highly condemned by fans.
There were incidences of hooliganism in the Mashemeji Derby after AFC Leopards fans turned rowdy after Gor Mahia scored the second in their 2-0 win which handed them the 17th KPL title.
Sports Kenya has banned AFC Leopards from using the facility indefinitely and the club could be slapped with costs for the damage after a section of its fans broke the seats,
The cost of the damage caused by fans during the Mashemeji derby at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani on Saturday 25th August could be as high as Ksh. 3 million.

Robin Aswani It’s such a shame that the club can respond to Saturday’s incidents with such a statement. Our argument is baseless.
We misbehaved and that’s a fact.
We have accept the fact that Gor are progressing very well while we are meandering in the wilderness with no clear vision of where we’re going.

That shouldnt be an excuse for what happened. The club hasn’t told us what will be done to those responsible, but instead defended their actions. Keep defending these acts while condeming hooliganism.
