Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli is a no joke.
Appearing on Jeff Koinange Live show he did not waste his moment as he flaunted his most expensive watch to the world where he claimed it to be pure gold worth Ksh 5million.
Stretching his hand to showcase the Swiss masterpiece, Atwoli revealed that he paid for the pricey watch in instalments.
In his statement he said, “Most people do not know me. Sometimes they over-value me and sometimes they under-value me. Somebody was saying that this watch is worth $20,000. That is about Sh2 million shillings. My watch is not worth that. This is Frank and Muller. My watch is pure gold and it cost me more than Sh5 million. I paid the money in instalments,”
Francis Atwoli:
People were claiming that my watch is Ksh 2M. They are undervaluing me!!..My watch is Ksh 5 Million!!..Franck Muller!!..Bought it in Switzerland!! You must have a certificate to own this watch!! It’s in my car@KoinangeJeff @stivogichbwoy @citizentvkenya #JKLive pic.twitter.com/CE3ONDBccD

A close-up photo and caption posted by social media influencer Xtian Dela put the timepiece into context.
“Damn!!! This is Francis Atwoli’s watch! It costs Sh 5 Million! The Franck Muller! You must have a certificate to wear this watch. If found wearing it without a certificate you will be arrested! He then looks up to me and says, ‘Young Man, you will buy bigger and better watches than this!!’…Damn!!!” Wrote Dela.

That’s why he will never quit the labour movement where he uses threats of workers industrial action to get
hefty bribes from employers while the workers he purports to fight for continue languishing in a myriad of problems.— Neman Ryassa (@RyassaNeman) August 15, 2018
A true reflection of a simple human mind. He’s not any better! And those are the leaders we have. It is a sorry state of affairs brethrens.
