Sanchez trains alone as Chilean ace remains unable to join Manchester United’s pre-season tour of America due to visa issues

Alexis Sanchez has trained alone at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground having been unable to join their US pre-season tour due to issues over his visa. The Chile ace is the standout omission from Jose Mourinho’s travelling party but he looked to be in goiod spirits as he showed off post workout in the dressing room via his Instagram feed. Listening to Akon’s ‘I’m So Paid’, Sanchez can ill-afford to rest on his laurels while discussions continue to see if he can join the rest of the team-mates with the Premier League opener now just 25 days away.
United bring the curtain up on the 2018-19 Premier League season on Friday, August 10 when they welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford. Sanchez undertook a double session, one close to midday and one that concluded in the early evening as he looks to find his best form ahead of the new campaign.Following his January move from Arsenal, the former Gunners star struggled to capture his best form and will want to show a marked improvement in his first full season at United. While Sanchez was put through his paces by a coach at Carrington, his team-mates got their preparations underway in Los Angeles having arrived at their base.
