Manchester United still could sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid – and as early as next week.
The Daily Mail suggest the Wales international has been told he will be Cristiano Ronaldo’s natural successor at the Bernabeu.
However, they claim Bale may leave for United next week if Real go back on their word.
Los Blancos are understood to have an interest in Eden Hazard, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
And the arrival of any of the trio could see Bale usurped – something he is demanding does not happen.
