Hazard, Kane and Neymar deals OFF

Real Madrid have sensationally ended their pursuit of a new Galactico signing, according to reports in Spain. Madrid were expected to launch a £200m raid on one of the world’s best players this summer. The club are interested in Chelsea star Eden Hazard, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and PSG sensation Neymar Club president Florentino Perez is seeking a Cristiano Ronaldo replacement and was reportedly set to dive into the market with an eye of breaking the transfer record.

But reports from Spain this morning claim Perez has had second thoughts.According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid have decided against a mega-spend this summer. They claim moves for Hazard, Kane and Neymar have all been put on ice.A Real Madrid source has leaked information to Libertad Digital, claiming: “We decided a few years ago that the transfer policy was different and Cristiano’s departure is not going to change our plans.”
The decision means new manager Julen Lopetegui will have to make do with his current squad, plus new signings Vinicius, Alvaro Odriozola and Andriy Lunin.

The revelation, if indeed the report is substantiated, will come as a huge relief to Chelsea. They are desperate for Hazard to stay and help Maurizio Sarri build a new regime at Stamford Bridge. But the player himself may not be overly pleased with Real’s decision to close the door on a big-money deal.Hazard has spoken freely about his desire to join Real Madrid, saying after the World Cup that his Blues days may be numbered.
He said over the weekend: “After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go.

”Rumours continue to follow Neymar wherever he goes but a transfer to Real appears unlikely this summer.PSG paid just shy of £200m for the Brazil international last year to prise him out of Barcelona.Tottenham will be delighted with the news that Harry Kane is not on Real Madrid’s remit – but then again they were always going to fight to keep the player.Kane led England to the semi-finals of the World Cup this summer, scoring six goals to win the Golden Boot. The striker is well under contract at Spurs and the club want him to mark their move to their new stadium.Mauricio Pochettino’s side are expected to kick on this season and challenge for trophies, with Kane’s presence crucial to that mission.
