Gor Mahia captain Harun Shakava says that that playing against Thika United is always tough that playing their Archrivals AFC Leopards.
The two sides will face off for the third time in 2018. They first met in the Super Cup in February and Gor Mahia FC won 1-0. They face off once again in the Sportpesa exhibition match and Gor Mahia won via postmatch penalties.
The wins extended AFC Leopards winless run in the derby to six matches in a row.
“There is no big or small match. To me, a game against Thika United FC is more difficult than playing against Leopards. We are players, we cannot run away from the challenge. Gor is just a name.
