The Reds are keen on her Brazil namesake Alisson Becker in a world record deal for a keeper – after Loris Karius gifted Real Madrid two goals in Liverpool’s 3-1 Champions League final defeat in May. But comedy star Alison has got in their first – tweeting to say she has signed for Jurgen Klopp’s squad. She said: “Excited to announce that I will be joining Liverpool as a goalkeeper!”
The 41-year-old’s trolling was taken in good spirit by Reds’ fans.
Some even admitted she had fooled them into thinking the World Cup keeper had signed, partly because her Twitter account is verified. One supporter tweeted: “I fell for it for a second. Would have worked if you had changed the pic.”
And others took the chance to suggest 25-year-old real target Alisson would be over-priced at the rumoured fee of £62million or more.

Chelsea are rivalling Liverpool for Alisson, who has 31 caps. The former Internacional star has been one of Serie A’s stand-out stoppers since joining Roma two years ago.
