£72million duo have agreed terms to sign for Chelsea

Chelsea hired a new manager in the form of Sarri and secured the signature of a new midfielder in the form of Jorginho at the weekend. Now, reports suggest that the Blues have agreed terms to complete two more signings. According to Alfredo Pedulla, Juventus defender Rugani has agreed a contract with the Stamford Bridge club, who could close the deal for a fee worth £45million.On the other hand, according to Calciomercato’s Matteo Pedrosi, Russian international Golovin, who is rated at £27million (The Mail), has agreed terms with the PL club and will become Chelsea’s new midfield signing.
Chelsea have got defensive midfielders like Bakayoko and new signing Jorginho, box to box midfielders like Kante and Loftus-Cheek and their most attack minded midfielder is Cesc Fabregas. The 31-year-old Spanish international is now past his best and therefore, Golovin could be his long term replacement. The 22-year-old starlet, who can also play as a winger, directly contributed in 3 goals at the 2018 World Cup. For CSKA Moscow, he scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists in all competitions last season,
Gary Cahill will turn 33 in December and 31-year-old David Luiz was mostly absent in the last Premier League campaign. Therefore, Sarri needs to revamp Chelsea’s back line and 23-year-old Daniele Rugani could be another long term reinforcement. The Italian boss likes to play 4-3-3 and in that setup, we can expect Antonio Rudiger to partner Rugani in the central defense if the Italian does end up completing his move to Stamford Bridge.
