Chelsea prepared to reject Real Madrid transfer bids

Chelsea FC are ready to reject bids from Real Madrid and FC Barcelona for Eden Hazard this summer because they are confident they can keep hold of him for another season, according to reports in the British media. The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the west London side have no intention of letting the 27-year-old leave Stamford Bridge this summer, despite recent comments from the Belgian suggesting that he is keen on a move away from the west London club.

The same report says that Chelsea FC feel confident that they will be able to keep hold of Hazard for at least another season. However, it goes on to suggest that the Blues may be more willing to let goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois leave Stamford Bridge this summer as he has just one year left on his contract at the club.According to the same report, Chelsea FC’s valuation of Hazard stands at more than the £200m that Paris Saint-Germain paid for Neymar last summer.
