Nyandarua First Lady Anne Kimemia has caused a melee online following her decision to donate underwear to school boys.
In her quest to ’empower the boy-child’, Kimemia went to Munyeki Primary school and gave the inner wear to the boys and asked them to lift them aloft, like trophies, for a photo shoot.
Netizens could not have enough of the photos of parading schoolboys holding the over sized garments.
Some lamented that the despite the obvious need that the First Lady was fulfilling with her philanthropy work, the photoshoot went too far.
They lamented that the action humiliated the boys. To other, the photo was not the issue but the sizes of the underwear that the boys were given. They claimed that they were outrageous, befitting full-grown adults.
