Kakamega Homeboyz Coach Asks Team to Bounce Back Against Kariobangi

Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Paul Nkata has urged his players to show strong character by bouncing back against Kariobangi Sharks when the two sides face off in the midweek Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash on Wednesday 26th June.

Homeboyz will host Sharks at Bukhungu with the aim of recovering from their last outing where they went down 6-1 to the rejuvenated Nakumatt FC.

Speaking ahead of the game, Nkata challenged his players to give a good performance against Sharks.

“The defeat to Nakumatt was embarrassing, to say the least. We have to show strong character against Sharks and get a good result. The match won’t be easy, Sharks are on good form and I know they will be out to win as well. We have to go make our home ground advantage count,” he said.

Only five points separate the two teams on the KPL log with Sharks, who have won all their last three matches placed sixth on 30 points and Homeboyz, ninth on 25 points.

The match will kick off at 3 pm.
