As reported by Spanish outlet ‘AS’, the first name on Barcelona’s shopping list is Miralem Pjanic. Barca want to reinforce their spine with a reliable midfielder.
Pjanic is the new talk of the town in the Catalan press. ‘Mundo Deportivo’ state that Valverde’s side have already contacted the Juventus man, and that Eric Abidal’s objective is to convince him to make the move.
However the Bosnian isn’t the only focus. As well as the midfielder, they also want to announce the arrivals of Lenglet and Arthur shortly.
‘Sport’ report that Barca will meet the Frenchman’s release clause on July 1.
They will hope that these transfer plans end up more succesful than their big move for Antoine Griezmann, which fell apart in front of their very eyes when the forward announced that he was to stay in Madrid live on television.
