Venue change for two KPL matches

Ulinzi stars have had their two away matches’ venues against Thika United and Sofapaka changed.

This United was set to play hosts to Ulinzi Stars at Thika Sub County Stadium on Sunday 1st July but has since moved the clash to Meru. Meanwhile, Sofapaka has also been allowed by the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) to move their home match against Ulinzi Stars to Meru. The match, scheduled for Thursday 5th July, was initially scheduled to be played at Kenyatta Stadium, in Machakos.

Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo took the changes well, noting that the team will not be affected in any way. “It is okay; I hear the Meru pitch is great, just like we like it so it will be a good experience playing two matches there.”
