England confirms Dele Alli replacement

Chelsea midfielder Loftus-Cheek , will replace injured Dele Alli in the starting lineup when the Three Lions get play Panama on Sunday. At 22, Loftus-Cheek was called up for the World Cup after overcoming an injury that had kept him out of the game for three months.

He had already debuted with the national team in the November break against Germany, but was then out from late December to mid-March. Alli had an issue just before the break against Tunisia, but he continued to play and the medical services of the English team have been evaluating him in recent days. The Tottenham man won’t play against Panama, the weakest team in the group, after it was confirmed that he will miss two days of training.
