Southampton boss Mark Hughes has joined the race to sign Jack Wilshere, Mirror reports
The Arsenal midfielder’s deal expires on July 1 and he has yet to commit himself to the fresh terms offered which would see him as fringe player under Unai Emery.
Wilshere has a string of offers from clubs including West Ham, Wolves, Sampdoria and AC Milan – and now Hughes wants him at Southampton.
Wilshere mostly proved his fitness last season, playing 38 games in all competitions, scoring twice and assisting six more.
