Egypt loss their second match against Russia in Group A World Cup campaign. Three goals from the Russian team and one from Egypt courtesy of Salah drew the Pharoahs closer to the end of their World Cup dreams. While fans expected more from Mo Salah, the Premier League highest goal scorer could only do a little at the showdown. However, fans have taken to Twitter to react to the game.
Russia 3 – 1 Egypt. Egypt are out. #WorldCup

Gutted for Mo Salah. Clearly not 100% and unable to carry a very average Egypt team.

Still, there’s always next World Cup. Which will be in Qatar. Which Egypt is currently blockading.

Mo Salah qualified Egypt for the World Cup for the 1st time in 28 yrs.
He scored their 1st World Cup goal while half fit in a team where their 2nd best player is El fucking Neny.
But VirginMartial thinks he’s overated because he didn’t win the World Cup.

His goal took Egypt to their first World Cup in 28 years. His penalty goal was Egypt’s first in the World Cup since 1990. Despite a rusty 3-week layoff, Mohamed Salah has achieved another personal milestone. pic.twitter.com/4C8KmM2Ng0
