Simi: I can stone Ighalo if i see him

Nigerian songstress and Opera ambassador, Simi has expressed her dissatisfaction with Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo and threatened to beat the Changchun Yatai player whenever she sees him. The ‘Joromi’ crooner who is an ardent football lover and staunch Manchester United fan followed the Super Eagles game against Croatia on Saturday where the Nigerian team lost 2-0 to the Croats. Simi believes Ighalo was not at his best during the game which prompted her reaction on social media. “I’m so upset. My heart is broken,” read one of her Instagram stories.

She needed to hold somebody responsible for the pour game and Ighalo was the person, though there were calls for Iheanacho to replace the former Watford player during the game. “If I see Ighalo in real life, I can stone him,” she wrote. We can understand her pains. We do know how it feels after supporting your team and rocking the new Super Eagles kit ahead of the game only to get defeated at the end of 90 minutes.

  1. She would be absolutely the most stupid person…

Ighalo was one of the very few who tried making things happen, but the stupid teammates around won’t help…
Even with almost “no service” and being isolated for the majority of the game, dude held his own and I felt for him almost through out.

Will never still understand the coach’s decision of NOT wanting to play Iheanacho alongside Ighalo upfront honestly.
