Nakumatt FC have sent a statement of intent with a 6-1 demolition of Kakamega Homeboyz at Camp Toyoyo grounds.
Boniface Mukhekhe gave Nakumatt the lead inside the first minute before Tom Adwar made it 2-0 in the 14th minute. Homeboyz reduced the deficit just before the break to set up a tantalizing second period.
Nakumatt hit four more after the break with Cornelius Juma grabbing a brace while Kelvin Thairu scored one. Keeper Lucas Indeche then compounded Homeboyz’ misery will a late goal from a free-kick.
The win moves Nakumatt from 15th to 12th in the table with 23 points. They next take on struggling Chemelil Sugar at Chemelil Sports Complex.
