Stoke City striker Peter Crouch thinks the England Captaincy will be an added motivation for striker Harry Kane. Kane will captain England in this year’s World Cup in Russia.
”He’ll thrive with the captaincy and I was delighted he received the honour – he’s come a long way since we first trained together at Spurs. My only slight concern is whether the impact of a long season will take a toll. He puts so much into every game and training session,” Crouch explained to reporters.
The Tottenham striker will be playing in his first World Cup.
