Sofapaka head coach John Baraza has attributed his side’s loss against AFC Leopards to fatigue. Batoto Ba Mungu lost 1-0 in Machakos and the former Kenyan international was quick to point to a fall in his charges’ energy levels.
”We wasted chances today. Both teams came to play but we were a little bit jaded and I don’t know why. Even the players that came on had little impact. We lacked energy especially in the dying minutes and we were punished for that,” he said.
The 2009 KPL champions missed out on the chance of going second on the standings, as they suffered their sixth loss of the campaign.
