Dele Alli to sign new Tottenham Hotspur deal

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli will allegedly join Harry Kane in signing a new long-term deal with the club.

According to the Evening Standard, Alli, who currently earns around £60,000 per week, is expected to receive a push towards £100,000 per week to match Kane’s new contract.

Tottenham, who have now secured the long-term futures of Kane and manager Mauricio Pochettino, reportedly hope that Alli’s extension will lead to contract talks with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier and Kieran Tripper before the start of next season.

The bulk of Tottenham’s squad is on international duty for the World Cup, but the newspaper says that Spurs chiefs want to tie down their star talent ahead of the new campaign, with Son Heung-min and Jan Vertonghenalso in line for a pay rise.

Alli, who is part of England’s World Cup squad, scored nine goals and assisted 10 others in the Premier League last season.
