Brazil legend Claudio Taffarel has claimed that Roma stopper Alisson Becker is “very happy” at the Serie A club despite rumours surrounding the goalkeeper’s future at the Stadio Olimpico.
According to Taffarel, “He is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours. I don’t know what will happen, but he said he’d be content to remain at Roma.”
“Alisson is only a year older than Ederson, but has grown so much, ever since he was given the starting role against Venezuela. He is a step above Ederson right now, as the Manchester City man can improve with his feet and in terms of experience.”
He further added,”Alisson could be named among the best goalkeepers in the world, along with Thibaut Courtois, David De Geaand Manuel Neuer.”
Alisson has made 37 appearances for Roma since joining from Internacional in 2016
