Gerrard Should consider Taking a Player-Coach Role at Juventus

Rangers’ legendary goalkeeper Andy Goram has advised new manager Steven Gerrard to consider playing for the team since he is way better than the club’s midfielders.

Gerrard retired from playing in November 2016 after ending his career in the MLS with LA Galaxy. Despite almost two years out of match action, Goram says the Liverpool hero would still boss Scotland’s top tier.

“If I was Gerrard, the first thing I’d be doing would be getting my boots out because he’s 10 times better than what has been in the Rangers team over the last few years,” he said.

“He’s 38 but put him in. Honestly. After watching last season, no one can tell me he couldn’t do a miles better job than what there is in there.”

The Liverpool legend will hope to rival his former manager Brendan Rodgers for the Scottish Premier League title next season.
