Barcelona are trying to sign Argentina international Cristian Pavon who plies his trade for Argentine club Boca Juniors.
Current Barca star Lionel Messi has reportedly recommended the signing of the 22-year-old and the LaLiga champions have already contacted the youngster’s current club Boca Juniors as they attempt to secure his services.
Despite still remaining in Argentina at 22, the wide man has managed to force his way into Jorge Sampaoli’s final World Cup squad ahead of notable omissions Mauro Icardi, Lautaro Martinez and Javier Pastore and is set to partner Messi for Argentina during the World Cup
