Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has ‘liked’ an Instagram post suggesting the Gunners should sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele for £87million. The north London club have been linked with a summer move for the France international after he made an unspectacular start to life at Camp Nou following his £135m switch from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
The 21-year-old got injured shortly after arriving in Catalonia, missing much of the first half of the season, and only made 23 appearances in total in his maiden campaign at the club.
There have been suggestions in the Spanish media that Barca might allow Dembele to leave, and Arsenal, along with Liverpool, have been cited as a possible destination. And clearly Aubameyang, who grew very close to Dembele during their season together at Dortmund, would love to be reunited with the youngster at the Emirates.
